Job summary

42 North Dental, based near Boston, seeks a licensed Dentist to join our team. You will provide comprehensive care, diagnose and treat oral diseases, and educate patients on treatment options.

In our established practice you will create personalized treatment plans, review options with patients, maintain records, and interpret X-rays. We offer ongoing continuing education and mentorship within a supportive network of doctors.

Qualifications

• Must be a licensed Dentist with a DMD or DDS.
• Current state license to practice dentistry is required.
• Hepatitis B vaccination documentation must be provided.
• Proof of malpractice insurance is required.
• BLS/CPR certification required.

Responsibilities

• Promote oral health and disease prevention.
• Diagnose oral diseases.
• Educate patients on oral health and treatment options.
• Create treatment plans to maintain or restore patient's oral health.
• Review treatment plan options with patients.
• Review, maintain and update patients' medical and dental records.
• Review and interpret x-rays and diagnostic tests.
• Monitor growth and development of the teeth and jaws.
• Provide proper restorative and preventive dental care.
• Perform surgical procedures on the teeth, bone and soft tissues of the oral cavity.
• Maintain the highest quality standard of care for all patients and ethics.
• Keep abreast of new developments and continuing education.

Education

DMD or DDS degree

Current state license to practice dentistry

Documentation of Hepatitis B vaccination

Proof of malpractice insurance

Current Basic Life Support (BLS) or CPR certification
