Job summary

42 North Dental is seeking a licensed Dentist to join our Restorative & Aesthetic Dental Associates practice in Portland, ME. You will lead comprehensive patient care from exam and treatment planning to delivery of services in a modern, patient-centered environment.

We offer flexible scheduling (full-time or part-time), no nights or weekends, strong earning potential based on production, and a supportive network of doctors focused on high-quality care.

Qualifications

• DMD or DDS degree from ADA CODA-accredited program.
• Current state license to practice dentistry.
• Documentation of Hepatitis B vaccination.
• Proof of malpractice insurance.
• Current BLS/CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Promote oral health and disease prevention.
• Diagnose oral diseases.
• Educate patients on oral health and treatment options.
• Create treatment plans to restore oral health.
• Review treatment plan options with patients.
• Maintain and update patients' medical and dental records.
• Review and interpret x-rays and diagnostic tests.
• Monitor growth and development of teeth and jaws.
• Provide restorative and preventive dental care.
• Perform surgical procedures on teeth, bone and soft tissues.
