Job summary

42North Dental in Portland, ME is seeking a licensed Dentist to lead the full patient care experience from exam to treatment execution. In-office specialties include periodontics, endodontics, oral surgery, and orthodontics, with a strong emphasis on restorative and aesthetic dentistry.

The ideal candidate holds an ADA CODA-accredited DDS/DMD, maintains current state licensure, and has CPR/BLS certification.

Qualifications

• DMD or DDS degree from ADA CODA accredited program.
• Current state dental license.
• Hepatitis B vaccination documentation.
• Proof of malpractice insurance.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) or CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Promote oral health and disease prevention.
• Diagnose oral diseases.
• Educate patients on oral health and treatment options.
• Create and review treatment plans.
• Maintain and update medical and dental records.
• Review and interpret x-rays and tests.
• Provide restorative and preventive dental care.
• Perform surgical procedures in the oral cavity.
• Maintain high standards of care and ethics.
• Keep up with new developments and continuing education.
