Job summary
42North Dental in Portland, ME is seeking a licensed dentist to provide comprehensive restorative and aesthetic dental care. You will manage the patient experience from exam to treatment, including in-office specialty services such as periodontics, endodontics, and orthodontics.

Qualifications
- DMD or DDS degree from ADA CODA-accredited program.
- Current state license to practice dentistry.
- Documentation of Hepatitis B vaccination.
- Proof of malpractice insurance.
- Current BLS or CPR certification.
Responsibilities
- Promote oral health and disease prevention.
- Diagnose oral diseases.
- Educate patients on oral health and treatment options.
- Create treatment plans to maintain or restore oral health.
- Review treatment plan options with patients.
- Review, maintain and update patients' medical and dental records.
- Review and interpret x-rays and diagnostic tests.
- Monitor growth and development of teeth and jaws.
- Provide proper restorative and preventive dental care.
- Perform surgical procedures on teeth, bone and soft tissues.
- Maintain the highest quality standard of care and ethics.
- Keep abreast of new developments and continuing education.
