Job summary

42 North Dental is seeking a licensed dentist to join our established practice near Warrington Township. The role covers the full clinical patient experience, from initial exam and treatment plan to delivery of care, with in-office periodontics, endodontics, oral surgery and orthodontics.

The position is part-time (Saturdays) with benefits including health, vision, 401K, and access to continuing education through Harvard Rounds Network; unlimited earning potential awaits the right candidate.

Qualifications

• Must have DMD or DDS from ADA CODA-accredited program.
• Must hold current state dental license.
• Hepatitis B vaccination documented.
• Proof of malpractice insurance.
• Current BLS/CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Promote oral health and disease prevention
• Diagnose oral diseases
• Educate patients on oral health and treatment options
• Create treatment plans to maintain or restore oral health
• Review treatment plan options with patients
• Review, maintain and update patients' medical and dental records
• Review and interpret x-rays and diagnostic tests
• Monitor growth and development of teeth and jaws
• Provide restorative and preventive dental care
• Perform surgical procedures on teeth, bone and soft tissues
• Maintain high standards of care and ethics and professionalism
• Keep abreast of new developments and continuing education

Education

DMD or DDS degree from a university-based dental education program accredited by the ADA CODA

Current state license to practice dentistry

Documentation of Hepatitis B vaccination

Proof of malpractice insurance

Current Basic Life Support (BLS) or cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) certification
