Job summary

42 North Dental in Bethlehem, PA is seeking a Dentist to lead the patient care experience in our established practice. You will manage the initial exam, treatment plan, and delivery of care, including in-office specialties.

This part-time role features two Saturdays per month (7AM-12PM) and a suite of benefits for eligible hours, including health, vision and 401K. CE opportunities through Harvard Rounds Network enhance professional growth.

Qualifications

• DMD or DDS degree from ADA CODA-accredited program.
• Current state license to practice dentistry.
• Vaccination against Hepatitis B.
• Malpractice insurance coverage.
• BLS or CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Promote oral health and disease prevention.
• Diagnose oral diseases.
• Educate patients on oral health and various treatment options.
• Create treatment plans to maintain or restore patient's oral health.
• Review treatment plan options with patients.
• Review, maintain and update patients' medical and dental records.
• Review and interpret x-rays and diagnostic tests.
• Monitor growth and development of the teeth and jaws.
• Provide proper restorative and preventive dental care.
• Perform surgical procedures on the teeth, bone and soft tissues of the oral cavity.
• Maintain the highest quality standard of care for all patients; uphold ethics and professionalism.
• Keep abreast of new developments, technologies, best practices and standard of care through continuing education.

Education

DMD or DDS degree (ADA CODA accredited)

Current state license to practice dentistry

Documentation of Hepatitis B vaccination

Proof of malpractice insurance

Basic Life Support (BLS) or CPR certification
