42North Dental in Portland, ME seeks a licensed dentist to lead the full clinical patient experience, from exam and treatment planning to delivery of care, with in-office perio, endo, oral surgery and orthodontics.

Qualifications

• DMD or DDS degree from an ADA CODA accredited program.
• Current state license to practice dentistry is required.
• Documentation of Hepatitis B vaccination.
• Proof of malpractice insurance.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) or CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Promote oral health and disease prevention.
• Diagnose oral diseases and educate patients on options.
• Create and review treatment plans with patients.
• Maintain and update patients' medical and dental records.
• Review and interpret x-rays and diagnostic tests.
• Provide restorative and preventive dental care.
• Perform surgical procedures on teeth, bone and soft tissues.
