Job summary

42North Dental in Portland, ME seeks a licensed dentist to manage the full patient care experience from initial exam to delivery of care. In-office services include periodontics, endodontics, oral surgery, and orthodontics, with a strong emphasis on restorative and aesthetic dentistry.

Qualifications

• DMD or DDS degree from an ADA CODA-accredited program.
• Current state license to practice dentistry.
• Documentation of Hepatitis B vaccination.
• Proof of malpractice insurance.
• Current BLS/CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Promote oral health and disease prevention.
• Diagnose oral diseases and educate patients on treatment options.
• Create and discuss treatment plans to restore oral health.
• Review, maintain and update patients' medical and dental records.
• Perform restorative and preventive dental care and surgical procedures as needed.
• Maintain high standards of ethics, professionalism, and continuous learning.
