Job summary

42North Dental in Michigan is seeking a Dentist to lead the full patient experience from exam to treatment, offering in-office services including periodontics, endodontics, oral surgery, and orthodontics.

You will Promote oral health, diagnose diseases, educate patients, create treatment plans, review options, maintain records, interpret x-rays, and perform surgical procedures, while upholding the highest standards of care and ethics.

Qualifications

• DMD or DDS degree from ADA CODA accredited program.
• Current state dental license.
• Hepatitis B vaccination documented.
• Proof of malpractice insurance.
• Current BLS or CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Promote oral health and disease prevention.
• Diagnose oral diseases.
• Educate patients on treatment options.
• Create treatment plans to maintain or restore oral health.
• Review treatment plan options with patients.
• Review, maintain and update patients' medical and dental records.
• Review and interpret x-rays and diagnostic tests.
• Monitor growth and development of the teeth and jaws.
• Provide proper restorative and preventive dental care.
• Perform surgical procedures on teeth, bone and soft tissues.
• Maintain the highest quality standard of care for all patients.
• Maintain the highest standard of ethics and professionalism.
• Keep abreast of new developments through continuing education.
