Job summary

42North Dental in Massachusetts seeks a licensed Dentist to join our team. You will promote oral health, diagnose diseases, educate patients, and create treatment plans to maintain or restore oral health, while reviewing options with patients.

This established practice welcomes a strong flow of new patients each month and offers mentorship, continuing education, and a collaborative network of doctors.

Qualifications

• DMD or DDS degree from ADA CODA accredited program.
• Current dental license to practice in the state.
• Vaccination against Hepatitis B is documented.
• Proof of malpractice insurance is provided.
• BLS or CPR certification is current.

Responsibilities

• Promote oral health and disease prevention.
• Diagnose oral diseases.
• Educate patients on oral health and treatment options.
• Create treatment plans to maintain or restore oral health.
• Review treatment plan options with patients.
• Review, maintain and update patients' medical and dental records.
• Review and interpret x-rays and diagnostic tests.
• Monitor growth and development of teeth and jaws.
• Provide restorative and preventive dental care.
• Perform surgical procedures on teeth, bone and soft tissues.
• Maintain high standards of care, ethics, and professionalism.
• Keep up with new developments and continuing education.

Education

DMD or DDS degree

Current state license to practice dentistry

Documentation of Hepatitis B vaccination

Proof of malpractice insurance

Current Basic Life Support (BLS) or CPR certification
