Job summary

42 North Dental, founded by dentists, is seeking a Dentist to join our established practice in Massachusetts. You will oversee the entire clinical patient experience from initial exam and plan to delivery of care, with in-office specialties including periodontics, endodontics, oral surgery and orthodontics.

The role supports a strong patient flow, ongoing continuing education, mentorship, and a collaborative network of doctors.

Qualifications

• DMD or DDS degree from an ADA CODA-accredited program.
• Active license to practice dentistry in the relevant state.
• Document Hepatitis B vaccination.
• Proof of malpractice insurance.
• BLS/CPR certification current.

Responsibilities

• Promote oral health and disease prevention.
• Diagnose oral diseases.
• Educate patients on oral health and treatment options.
• Create treatment plans to maintain or restore oral health.
• Review treatment plan options with patients.
• Review and update patients' medical and dental records.
• Review and interpret x-rays and diagnostic tests.
• Monitor growth and development of teeth and jaws.
• Provide restorative and preventive dental care.
• Perform surgical procedures on teeth, bone and soft tissues.
• Maintain high quality standard of care and ethics.

Education

DMD or DDS degree

Current state license to practice dentistry

Documentation of Hepatitis B vaccination

Proof of malpractice insurance

Current Basic Life Support (BLS) or CPR certification
