Job summary

42 North Dental in New Jersey seeks a part-time dentist to join our established practice. You will manage the full clinical patient experience, from exam to delivery of care, with in-office specialties including periodontics, endodontics, oral surgery and orthodontics.

The role offers access to exclusive continuing education, a strong patient flow, and opportunities to advance within the practice. Two Saturdays per month are required, with flexible scheduling as appropriate.

Qualifications

• DMD or DDS degree from an ADA CODA-accredited program.
• Current state license to practice dentistry.
• Documentation of Hepatitis B vaccination.
• Proof of malpractice insurance.
• Current BLS or CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Promote oral health and disease prevention.
• Diagnose oral diseases.
• Educate patients on oral health and treatment options.
• Create and review treatment plans with patients.
• Maintain and update patients' medical and dental records.
• Review and interpret x-rays and diagnostic tests.
• Monitor growth and development of teeth and jaws.
• Provide restorative and preventive dental care.
• Perform surgical procedures on teeth, bone, and soft tissues.
• Maintain high quality standards and ethical professionalism.
• Stay updated with new developments and continuing education.
