Job summary

Meridian Health Services in Marion, Indiana is seeking a full-time Associate Dentist to provide comprehensive dental care and build strong patient relationships within a mission-driven team focused on whole-person health. You’ll work five days a week with options for Fort Wayne and Portland locations.

Qualifications

• DDS or DMD degree from an accredited dental school.
• Current Indiana Dental License (or ability to obtain).
• DEA and CSR certification.
• Experience in community health, public health, FQHC, or rural dentistry settings.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive dental examinations and assessments.
• Diagnose and develop treatment plans for acute and long-term dental needs.
• Provide preventive, restorative, and emergency dental care.
• Educate patients on oral health, treatment options, and preventive care.
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests and imaging as needed.
• Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to support whole-person care.
• Manage dental emergencies and urgent patient needs.
• Ensure continuity of care through follow-up visits and patient communication.
• Maintain compliance with HIPAA and all regulatory requirements.
• Stay current with advancements in dentistry and evidence-based practices.
