42 North Dental in Enfield, CT is seeking a full-time General Dentist to deliver comprehensive restorative and preventive care. You’ll lead treatment planning from exam to delivery, with in-office options in periodontics, endodontics, oral surgery, and orthodontics.

Qualifications

• DMD or DDS degree from ADA CODA-accredited program.
• Current state dental license to practice in the relevant state.
• Documentation of Hepatitis B vaccination.
• Proof of malpractice insurance.
• Current BLS/CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Promote oral health and disease prevention.
• Diagnose oral diseases.
• Educate patients on oral health and treatment options.
• Create treatment plans to maintain or restore oral health.
• Review treatment plan options with patients.
• Review and update patients' medical and dental records.
• Review and interpret x-rays and diagnostic tests.
• Monitor growth and development of teeth and jaws.
• Provide restorative and preventive dental care.
• Perform surgical procedures on teeth, bone and soft tissues.
• Maintain high standards of care and ethics.
• Keep current with new developments and continuing education.

Education

DMD or DDS degree
