Job summary

42North Dental, built by dentists for dentists, invites applications for a Dentist role at our practice. The position offers either part-time or full-time schedules in Torrington, CT, with a compensation structure based on collections and performance.

The dentist will oversee the full patient experience from exam to delivery, with in-office specialties including periodontics, endodontics, oral surgery and orthodontics.

Qualifications

• DDS/DMD degree from an ADA CODA-accredited program.
• Current state dental license to practice dentistry.
• Documentation of Hepatitis B vaccination.
• Proof of malpractice insurance.
• Current BLS or CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Promote oral health and disease prevention.
• Diagnose oral diseases.
• Educate patients on oral health and treatment options.
• Create and review treatment plans to maintain or restore oral health.
• Maintain and update patients' medical and dental records.
• Review and interpret x-rays and diagnostic tests.
• Monitor development of teeth and jaws.
• Provide restorative and preventive dental care.
• Perform surgical procedures on teeth and surrounding tissues.
• Maintain high standards of care and professional ethics.
• Keep up with new developments through continuing education.
