Job summary

42 North Dental in Hollidaysburg, PA is seeking a full-time General Dentist to join a patient-centered team focused on delivering high-quality care. You will manage the entire patient experience, from examination and treatment planning to delivery of care, with opportunities to work with in-house specialists and engage in ongoing education.

Responsibilities include promoting oral health, diagnosing conditions, educating patients, creating and reviewing treatment plans, and maintaining records.

Qualifications

• DMD or DDS degree from an ADA CODA-accredited program.
• Current license to practice dentistry in the state.
• Documentation of Hepatitis B vaccination.
• Proof of malpractice insurance.
• Current BLS or CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Promote oral health and disease prevention.
• Diagnose oral diseases and discuss treatment options with patients.
• Create and review treatment plans to maintain or restore oral health.
• Maintain and update patients' medical and dental records.
• Review and interpret x-rays and diagnostic tests.
• Monitor growth and development of teeth and jaws.
• Provide restorative and preventive care for patients.
• Perform surgical procedures on teeth, bone and soft tissues.
• Uphold high ethical standards and professionalism.
• Keep current with new developments and continuing education.
