Qualifications

• Master's degree in a related field required.
• Three years plus of prior academic administration experience in a comparable position.
• Evidence of three years of full-time successful teaching experience.
• Demonstrated understanding of student learning outcomes assessment principles and practices.
• Demonstrated experience with academic budgeting practices.
• Three years plus of prior academic administration experience in a comparable position.
• Terminal degree in a related field.

Responsibilities

• Assist the dean in developing new and modifying existing programs to promote student learning outcomes and program effectiveness.
• Take a leading role in defining and achieving academic program and course quality and assessment of student learning outcomes.
• Serve on the AD Council, Curriculum Committee and Student Learning Outcomes Assessment Committee.
• Monitor department inventory, supplies, and capital equipment and support maintenance of Performing Arts Facilities.
• Prepare and maintain a department or division budget.
• Hire, orient and train, supervise adjunct instructors and coordinate with College offices.
