Positional Summary
The Associate Dean of Students directs the Division of Student Affairs’ efforts in student risk mitigation, supporting student safety and wellbeing. The Associate Dean of Students manages and oversees university interdisciplinary support teams (e.g., the A-Team, C-Team, PPD Team and more) administrative support of student protests and demonstrations, and off-campus student relations. This position also plays critical roles in implementing the institution’s 24-7 student crisis response system and the Student Behavioral Assessment Team. In collaboration with the Assistant Vice President of Policy and Governance and the Senior Associate Dean of Students, the Associate Dean of Students provides flexible management and coordination for emerging special projects and those within all non-clinical functional areas.

Anticipated Pay Range:
Duke University provides an annual base salary range for this position as USD $62,000 to USD $102,000. Duke University considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position; candidate's work experience, education/training, and key skills; internal peer equity; as well as market and organizational considerations when extending an offer.
