Job summary

William Paterson University seeks an Associate Dean for the School of Nursing to lead accreditation, program quality, and workforce-aligned curriculum development. You will partner with the Dean and Chair to advance strategic initiatives and ensure regulatory compliance across baccalaureate, master’s, and doctoral programs.

The role emphasizes collaboration with healthcare providers, faculty development, and improvement of student outcomes through data-informed planning and external partnerships.

Qualifications

• Terminal nursing degree required (PhD, EdD or DNP).
• New Jersey Nursing licensure or ability to obtain licensure within 6 months.
• Minimum of five years of experience in academic nursing programs.

Responsibilities

• Ensure accreditation and regulatory compliance for all nursing programs (CCNE, NJ Board of Nursing).
• Lead and collaborate with faculty, staff and external councils on strategic plans and program development.
• Oversee data reporting, CIPRs, and variance analysis to drive continuous improvement.
• Identify and secure external funds, grants, and partnerships for program enhancement.
