Job summary

William Paterson University in Wayne, NJ seeks an Associate Dean for the School of Nursing. The role leads accreditation, clinical partnerships, and curriculum development, reporting to the Dean and collaborating with the COSH Chairperson to advance program quality and student success.

The ideal candidate holds a terminal nursing degree and NJ licensure or ability to obtain it within six months, with at least five years in academic nursing.

Qualifications

• Terminal nursing degree required.
• NJ nursing licensure or ability to obtain within 6 months.
• Minimum of five years in academic nursing programs.

Responsibilities

• Ensure program quality and accreditation with CCNE and NJ Board of Nursing.
• Oversee accreditation submissions and revisions for all programs.
• Represent the School on internal and external councils and committees.
• Develop strategic plans and monitor KPIs for nursing programs.
• Manage budgets and supervise nursing faculty and staff.
