The Associate Dean of Nursing will serve in this critical role, leading one of the College’s most high-demand and respected programs. This role is ideal for an inspiring nursing education leader ready to shape and guide as they assist in overseeing curriculum development, accreditation, and faculty advancement. The Associate Dean of Nursing will have a direct hand in continuing this legacy—advancing one of the College’s most vital academic areas and making a tangible impact on the future of healthcare education.

Schoolcraft College is deeply invested in cutting-edge healthcare education. The College’s Health Sciences Center houses a state-of-the-art Health Professions Simulation Lab (HPSL) and advanced imaging equipment, providing students with highly realistic, hands-on clinical experiences. These facilities reflect Schoolcraft’s commitment to academic rigor, interdisciplinary learning, and preparing graduates to thrive in complex healthcare environments. The Nursing program benefits from an extensive network of clinical partnerships.

The Associate Dean of Nursing reports to the Dean of Occupational Programs, Business and Education and leads the College’s Nursing programs.

Minimum Qualifications

• Master of Science degree in Nursing
• Current RN license and eligibility for licensing in the state of Michigan
• At least three (3) years of administrative or supervisory experience in a Nursing department or higher education setting
• Experience in budget oversight and personnel management
• Proven ability to establish and maintain successful working relationships with students, staff, faculty, and other administrative personnel and external partners
• Effective communication skills with a demonstrated ability to lead through shared decision making and foster a team environment
• Demonstrated organizational and managerial skills
• Experience with various technologies (e.g. LMS, ExamSoft, Teams)
