As a Database Engineer, you will support, handle, and maintain databases that serve and accelerate our business across Travel Products, demonstrating a Cloud First approach to enhance customer experience.

Responsibilities

• Improve DB administration skills for Oracle, MySQL, PostgreSQL on Linux.
• Gain knowledge of Oracle EBS system.
• Develop expertise in database performance and SQL tuning.
• Automate tasks using shell/python scripts and Ansible.
• Migrate and support databases on Google Cloud Platform.
• Partner with Product Teams to plan and implement DB tasks.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, IT, or related field.
• 2+ years of experience with Oracle EBS and MySQL Database Administration.
• Knowledge of database replication, backup/recovery, security, and performance tuning.
• Proficiency in Linux, shell scripting, and Python.
• Hands-on experience with Oracle and/or PostgreSQL.
• Exposure to cloud platforms, GCP preferred.
• Ability to work independently and in a team, supporting 24x7 on-call rotation.
• Relevant certifications are a plus.

Additional Details

Salary range: $95,000 - $120,000 USD. Benefits include a competitive salary, potential bonuses, and equity.
