Job summary

The Home Depot is seeking an Associate Data Scientist to support data science initiatives that improve profitability, efficiency and customer experience. You will work with Data Scientists to develop models and algorithms on large datasets, applying advanced analytics to identify trends and drive business solutions.

External focus includes learning specialized areas such as optimization, computer vision, recommendation, search or NLP to turn insights into value for the business while growing

Qualifications

• Must be eighteen years of age or older.
• Must be legally permitted to work in the United States.
• Preferred qualifications include a Master’s degree in a quantitative field and 3+ years of experience in BI and analytics.

Responsibilities

• 70% Solution Development - design and develop algorithms and models to extract business insights from large datasets.
• 20% Communicating Results - present insights to technical and non-technical audiences, support reports and presentations.
• 10% Technical Learning - stay current with industry trends and continuously improve data analytics skills.
