Moody’s Analytics is seeking an Associate Data Scientist to assist in quantitative modeling and research for the Asset Management Sales and Customer Success teams. You will work on upgrading models, leveraging Moody’s proprietary data and external data sources, and delivering proofs of concept to internal stakeholders.

The role requires a willing collaboration with multiple business lines, independent project management, and in-person work at Moody’s offices—minimum once a week.

Qualifications

• Experience with large real-world datasets: cleaning, merging, exploring and diagnosing data problems.
• Solid grounding in econometrics, statistics, machine learning, and related data analysis methods.
• Proficiency in Python, R and analytical tools.

Responsabilités

• Assist in the enhancement and maintenance of existing quantitative modeling solutions.
• Collaborate with research teams to develop new solutions, conduct research, and contribute content (articles, blogs, white papers).
• Develop new models/solutions for asset management using Moody’s data and external data.
• Deliver proof-of-concept projects with internal teams and create collateral.
