Job summary

KPMG is seeking an Associate Data Programmer, Global Trade Analytics to join its Trade and Customs practice. The role involves researching and advising on import/export matters, and using data analytics to address supply chain challenges.

The candidate will work with client teams on global trade processes, develop innovative solutions, and mentor interns while maintaining high professional standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum one year of recent programming experience, involving SQL, Alteryx, Azure Data Factory, Fabric, Python, Power Automate, C#, and more.
• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college/university in business, information systems, computer science, MIS or related fields.
• Ability to think creatively in a fast-paced environment; strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to travel and/or work on-site at client premises as needed; on-site work may be required.

• Utilize data analytics tools to help solve supply chain problems
• Develop innovative solutions to help clients conduct their business, encompassing people, processes and technology
• Work with clients’ business, technology and compliance resources on global trade processes and procedures
• Develop and maintain client and internal relationships
• Train and mentor interns
• Act with integrity, professionalism, and personal responsibility to uphold KPMG’s respectful and courteous work environment

Qualifications:

• Minimum one year of recent programming experience, involving but not limited to either SQL, Alteryx, Azure Data Factory, Fabric, Python, Power Automate, C#, and more. Knowledge of global trade and supply chain preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college/university or foreign equivalent in business, information systems, computer science, management information systems, business analytics or related fields
• Flexibility and ability to think creatively and critically in a rapidly changing, fast-paced environment; strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
• Ability to travel and/or work on-site at client premises as needed, at times with relatively short notice
