Job description

Role Overview

The Associate Data Support Analyst will support day-to-day data operations, analysis, reporting, and data quality activities across key business initiatives. This role is responsible for locating and consolidating data, validating its completeness and accuracy, producing actionable reports, and helping drive data issues through resolution.

This is a hands‑on role for an analytical and resourceful professional who can work independently, manage multiple priorities, and turn broadly defined requests into accurate, timely deliverables. The successful candidate will use artificial intelligence tools where appropriate to accelerate research and analysis, while carefully validating outputs and ensuring data quality.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform day-to-day data analysis and deliver reports and insights for internal stakeholders and client‑related requests.

  • Identify, locate, extract, and consolidate data from multiple sources, including situations where the required information is not immediately available.

  • Use artificial intelligence tools appropriately to support data research, consolidation, analysis, and reporting, while verifying the accuracy of all outputs.

  • Monitor and assess data quality, completeness, consistency, and accuracy across incoming data and existing reports.

  • Investigate data discrepancies, document findings, open tickets with the appropriate teams, and drive issues through completion.

  • Create, maintain, and validate recurring and ad‑hoc reports, dashboards, and business metrics.

  • Support established and emerging data initiatives, including Device IQ and Protection Index.

  • Manage multiple workstreams with strong attention to detail, ensuring that tasks and issues do not fall behind.

  • Communicate findings, progress, risks, and recommended actions clearly to business and technical stakeholders.

  • Document data sources, processes, assumptions, and analysis to support repeatability and knowledge sharing.

Required Qualifications

  • At least 2 years of experience in data analysis, business analysis in a technical environment, data operations, or a related role.

  • Experience extracting, analyzing, validating, and reporting data from multiple sources.

  • Working knowledge of SQL, Microsoft Excel, and Power BI or comparable reporting and visualization tools.

  • Demonstrated ability to investigate ambiguous requests, identify the data needed, and independently develop a practical solution.

  • Strong attention to detail and a disciplined approach to data quality and accuracy.

  • Ability to organize and manage multiple assignments, shifting priorities, and time‑sensitive requests.

  • Effective written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across business and technology teams.

  • Interest in and practical understanding of using artificial intelligence tools responsibly to improve productivity and analytical work.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in a technical, analytical, or business discipline, or equivalent professional experience.

  • Experience with data quality assurance, dashboard validation, issue management, or operational reporting.

  • Experience working with Salesforce, Oracle databases, APIs, web services, or ETL tools.

  • Exposure to Python, R, SQL Server Integration Services, or SQL Server Reporting Services.

  • Experience supporting internal customers or responding to time‑sensitive business requests.
