Job summary

Stryker Portage is seeking an Inventory Associate to perform cycle counts and maintain inventory accuracy across plant areas. You'll investigate discrepancies, conduct root-cause analysis, and ensure records in the ERP are precise and up to date.

The role is onsite with a 6:00am–2:30pm schedule, OT as needed. A high school diploma or GED is required, with prior inventory or manufacturing experience preferred. Travel is not required, and a bonus and benefits are available.

Work Flexibility: Onsite Schedule

Monday - Friday, 6:00am-2:30pm, OT as needed by the business.

What You’ll Do

• Perform cycle counts and physical inventory counts across multiple plant areas to maintain inventory accuracy.
• Investigate inventory discrepancies, conduct root cause analysis, and resolve variances between physical and system inventory.
• Maintain accurate inventory records in the ERP system and use system tools to research and track inventory issues.
• Compile and review purchase orders, inventory records, and related documentation to support inventory management.
• Ensure proper storage, labeling, organization, and traceability of inventory throughout the facility.
• Assist with Engineering Change Order (ECO) part exchanges and ensure damaged or defective materials are handled according to procedures.
• Prepare inventory reports and provide updates on shortages, discrepancies, and investigations during Tier 1 meetings.
• Collaborate with Materials, Quality, Assembly, Fabrication, and other teams to support inventory accuracy and continuous improvement initiatives.

• Hybrid – You can expect to regularly work in both an alternate workplace and a Stryker facility. Roles that are partially remote or co-located would qualify as hybrid, and the expectation to be onsite would be defined and agreed upon by your manager/supervisor.
