Job description

Job Summary:

The Financial Analyst will collaborate with other team members to deliver thoughtful, detail-oriented, best-in-class service to our client. This team member will be responsible for providing timely, accurate, and actionable information for analysis in support of the Asset Management platform across multiple capital structures and multiple property types (office, retail, industrial, multifamily, condos, student-housing, hospitality). This role includes interfacing with borrowers, equity partners and client representatives and must have the awareness and the ability to interact with others in a professional manner and with a sense of urgency.

Responsibilities:

1. Manage and review debt and equity funding requests efficiently and meticulously.
2. Respond to ad hoc financial analysis and data requests promptly.
3. Analyze and review proposed office and retail lease agreements.
4. Ensure compliance with all loan agreement covenants.
5. Oversee the collection and examination of monthly financial statements.
6. Manage the collection and evaluation of annual operating and capital budgets.
7. Coordinate with internal insurance associates to oversee insurance coverage and escrow requirements.
8. Work with internal tax associates to ensure tax payments and escrow requirements are met.

Required Qualifications:

1. 2+ years of relevant experience.
2. Skilled in Microsoft Excel usage.
3. Knowledgeable about commercial real estate transactions and industry terminology.
4. Familiar with commercial real estate valuation methods and principles.
5. Capable of managing multiple tasks and meeting strict deadlines.
6. Demonstrates strong analytical and mathematical abilities.
7. Excellent at both written and verbal communication.
8. Familiar in using Argus Enterprise for real estate analysis.
9. Proficient in Microsoft Word and Outlook for professional documentation and communication.
