Associate Creative Director - Copywriter

TEKsystems is seeking an Associate Creative Director Copywriter for a ~2-3 month contract position focusing on social-first content. The ideal candidate can work proactively and autonomously (in partnership with an AD) to conceptualize, produce, and deliver work with high attention to detail under tight deadlines. They will manage multiple projects simultaneously, explore innovative ideas, present social-first concepts, and iterate quickly based on feedback. The candidate should be capable of conveying complex technical concepts as well as simple, consumer-focused ideas.

This role requires comfort with a fluid schedule, collaboration across various teams—including creatives, communications, content professionals, and stakeholders across Meta—and a strong social-first craft, including storytelling and awareness of trending social formats and elements.

Required Skills

• Ability to translate complex subjects into engaging social content
• Conceptualize, write, edit, test, and refine content that brings the brand to life on social platforms
• Collaborate with art directors, designers, editors, motion graphics teams, and senior leadership
• Present ideas clearly to build consensus
• Work autonomously and within teams depending on project needs

Minimum Qualifications

• 6+ years in an ad agency or in-house role creating and art directing brand and product ideas
• Experience across multiple social platforms
• Proven ability to simplify complex topics into entertaining social concepts
• Experience with self-initiated projects and articulating creative decisions
• Expert communication skills
• Experience creating content for formats like Stories, Reels, IG, FB, WhatsApp
• Must be located in SF Bay Area and able to visit the office as needed

Preferred Qualifications

• Energized by fast-paced, quick-turn environments
• Experience in product storytelling and working collaboratively with cross-functional teams
• Experience in tech industry

Additional Details

The pay rate is $90.00 - $135.00/hr. Benefits may include medical, dental, vision, 401(k), life insurance, disability, HSA, transportation benefits, and more, subject to eligibility and plan specifics. This is a fully onsite role in Menlo Park, CA. The application deadline is May 23, 2025.
