We’re looking for a full-time Associate Creative Director, Art to join our team working on The Chosen.

Location: Remote-first. West Coast Preferred. Travel within the US required.

ABOUT THIS ROLE

We’re seeking a driven and empathetic leader with a passion for culture and storytelling.

Are you a visionary creative with a passion for connecting human insights to conceptual ideas? Do you live to show over tell? If so, we want you to join our team as an Associate Creative Director, Art, where you will play a pivotal role in leading our creative department and owning all visual facets of our work for The Chosen’s universe.

To thrive on this team, you don’t need to believe in Jesus. Our job is to market a beautifully made, 1st century show that’s grown from humble origins to theatrical releases. In addition to developing a two-part global marketing campaign to launch Season 6, you’ll also guide brand development for a new animated children’s show, a ‘Making Of’ documentary, ancillary content and limited edition merchandise. Our Associate Creative Director, Art will report to the Creative Director.

Key Responsibilities

• Artistic Vision: Collaborate with the creative team to set a high standard of artistic excellence, pushing the envelope of design and visual storytelling.
• Concept Development: Transform creative concepts into visually striking and innovative designs, ensuring that our projects are visually compelling and aligned with our clients' brand objectives.
• Team Leadership: Inspire, mentor, and lead a team of talented designers, illustrators, and artists to foster creativity, develop their skills, and consistently deliver top-notch creative work.
• Client Engagement: Collaborate closely with clients to understand their vision and provide creative solutions that exceed their expectations. You'll be a key liaison between our team and clients, ensuring that their needs and goals are met.
• Project Management: Oversee multiple projects, maintaining quality control, meeting deadlines, and managing resources efficiently. You'll be the artistic captain of our creative ship, ensuring smooth sailing through each project.
• Innovation: Keep your finger on the pulse of emerging design trends, technologies, and creative techniques, and lead the team in implementing them to stay at the forefront of the industry.
• Stakeholder Management: Effectively manage and communicate with various stakeholders, including clients, cross-functional teams, and senior management, to ensure alignment and buy-in for creative projects.
• Budget Oversight: Collaborate with our production team to manage project budgets effectively, ensuring that creative projects are executed efficiently and cost-effectively.

REQUIREMENTS

• 3+ years experience in a creative leadership role
• 6+ years experience in an agency environment or related role
• Production / On-Set Experience
• Expertise in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator)
• Ability to manage and critique other creatives with decisive grace
• Highly conceptual thinker with strong design sensibilities

The anticipated annual compensation range for this position is $120,000.00 - $150,000.00, in addition to our standard employee benefits package (medical/dental/vision/life insurance, 401k matching, Flexible PTO, and various other benefits and perks). Consistent with applicable law, compensation is determined based on a wide range of factors, including relevant experience, knowledge, skills, job duties, and geographic location. We reserve the right to modify this pay range at any time.
