Qualifications

  • Associate degree or high school diploma required.
  • Missouri MAADC I/II, CRAADC, CRADC, or RADC-P credentialing required/preferred.
  • Within 3 months of employment, First Aid and CPR certifications.
  • Within 30 days, Behavioral Management and Crisis Management training.
  • Annual 50-hour training requirement must be completed.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in screening and assessment under supervision.
  • Develop treatment plans based on assessment data.
  • Participate in clinical staffing and team meetings.
  • Document services and ensure treatment plans are referenced.
  • Ensure discharge summaries are reviewed/countersigned by a Qualified Addiction Professional.
  • Assist with transitions and client communications.
  • Provide group counseling and individual sessions as appropriate.
  • Respond to crises and inform supervisors as required.
