Burrell Behavioral Health is seeking an Associate Counselor in St. Charles, MO to support recovery through group and individual counseling, screenings, and treatment planning under supervision. The role emphasizes ethical practice and collaborative care within the SUD services team.

You will contribute to assessments, develop plans, participate in team meetings, and help clients progress toward healthier decisions while maintaining documentation standards and supportive client relationships.

Qualifications

• Hold one of the licenses: MAADC I or II, CADC, CRADC.
• Associate’s degree or high school diploma/equivalent.
• Associate Counselors must be supervised by a Qualified Addiction Professional who has completed MCB Clinical Supervision Training.

Responsibilities

• Support clients throughout their recovery by facilitating group counseling, group education, family conferences, and individual counseling sessions.
• Conduct client screenings and assessments under supervision of licensed/qualified counselors.
• Develop individualized treatment plans based on assessments and evolving needs.
• Contribute to treatment team meetings and share relevant case information.
• Document services accurately and timely while meeting regulatory standards.
