Job summary

The Central Intelligence Agency Office of Inspector General seeks an experienced attorney to serve as Associate Counsel to the Audit, Inspections, and Investigations Staffs and to advise OIG leadership.

The role requires deep understanding of CIA authorities, the Intelligence Community, and the governing statutes under which OIG operates, with responsibilities including providing legal guidance and participating in regulatory review and oversight meetings.

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor Degree from an ABA-accredited law school.

Responsibilities

• Provide cogent legal advice and guidance, both orally and in written products, to the IG and OIG leadership.
• Conduct legal research and analyses across a wide range of topics, including statutes, constitutional principles and ethics.
• Review and comment on proposed legislation and interact with the DoJ and Congress.
• Advise on NSA acts, FOIA/PA matters, procurement and fiscal law, conflicts of interest and ethics.
