You will provide legal guidance on responsible AI development and data governance, advising product teams and leadership. You will collaborate with product managers, scientists, engineers, and cross‑functional stakeholders to navigate regulatory and compliance challenges while maintaining Amazon’s commitment to innovation.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of legal experience.
• Experience of a mix of corporate law firm and in‑house work.
• Experience in private practice or in house experience at a technology company or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Advise one or more business teams and business leaders as a product counsel supporting AGI's responsible AI and data governance teams.
• Partner with product managers, scientists, engineers, and other cross‑functional stakeholders to provide guidance on innovative tools and products to help teams build and deploy AI services responsibly by design.
• Collaborate with Amazon Legal and a global team of lawyers to ensure compliant, ethical AI practices.
