Job summary

Jobtailor in Philadelphia, PA seeks an experienced litigation attorney to defend insurance defense and personal injury matters. You will handle research, pleadings, motions, discovery, and depositions, and render liability opinions for the Claims Department. Travel to trials and hearings is required.

PA Bar admission and a JD are mandatory. The ideal candidate has 2–6+ years of litigation experience in insurance defense, strong organizational and communication skills, and the ability to manage

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor degree REQUIRED.
• Admission to the Pennsylvania Bar REQUIRED.
• Licensed in good standing to practice law in Pennsylvania.
• Must meet and maintain licensing requirements, including mandatory CLE (Continuing Legal Education).
• 2 to 6+ years of litigation experience in insurance defense and/or personal injury.
• Must be able to travel to trials, hearings, depositions, meetings and conferences.
• Must document files clearly, concisely, professionally.
• Must follow complex instructions and resolve conflicts.
• Strong organization, priority-setting and multitasking skills.

Requirements

• Civil litigation experience preferred

• Must be able to communicate professionally in person, by telephone and in written correspondence/email
