Qualifications

• 1–3 years in corporate restructuring, investment banking, private equity, or related roles.

• Strong academic record from a reputable program (undergraduate/graduate)
• CFA/CPA or other financial designation a plus
• Familiarity with the US Bankruptcy Code is a plus

Associate – Corporate Finance Restructuring Advisory

• Location: Las Vegas, Nevada area (local candidates or willing to relocate)
• In-office / On-site position
• Compensation: base salary range $125,000 to $145,000 (commensurate with experience); competitive / discretionary performance bonus potential (24-50%; comprehensive employee benefits; relocation assistance for candidates not already in Las Vegas area

Summary – Associate, Corporate Finance Restructuring Advisory:

Associate, Corporate Finance Restructuring Advisory will participate in all aspects of the firm’s engagements, including assisting with bankruptcy-related financial and legal analysis, litigation, developing complex financial models, providing valuations, evaluating strategic alternatives, and quantifying damages. Associate will work closely with all team members on a variety of engagements representing clients such as debtors, CROs, chapter 7, 11 and liquidating/litigation trustees, creditors, creditors’ committees, and plan administrators in cases spanning a range of industries.

• REQUIRED: 1 to 3 years’ work experience in corporate restructuring, investment banking, private equity, financial consulting, or similar / relevant
• Technical evaluation prior to hire: must successfully complete financial modeling testing and Case Study assessment - ***specifically the ability to create detailed 3-statement models…i.e. LBO****

Responsibilities – Associate, Corporate Finance Restructuring Advisory:

• Evaluate first-day motions, 13-week cash flow analyses, liquidity forecasting, constructing recovery waterfalls, lender update presentations, vendor analyses, liquidation, wind-down and claims analyses and three statement models
• Create detailed 3-statement financial models, ad hoc analytics, and company valuations
• Assist with the preparation of pitch books and providing thoughtful research & analysis for potential clients
• Work directly with senior internal personnel and clients to develop comprehensive solutions to complex financial challenges across multiple industries. Ability to recognize underlying issues and condense large amounts of financial & legal information into logical, thoughtful and concise solutions and/or presentations.

Qualifications – Associate, Corporate Finance Restructuring Advisory:

• REQUIRED: 1 to 3 years’ work experience in corporate restructuring, investment banking, private equity, financial consulting, or similar / relevant corporate positions with a financial or accounting focus
• REQUIRED: Superior financial modeling skills (specifically the ability to create detailed 3-statement models…i.e. LBO)
• REQUIRED: Advanced PowerPoint and Excel capabilities; Proficiency with financial/data analytics
• REQUIRED Strong academic record from a reputable undergraduate/graduate program (pursuit of a CFA, CPA, or other financial designations a plus)
• Familiarity with the US Bankruptcy code is a plus
• Highly detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
