We are seeking an Associate Counsel to be responsible, under the guidance of a Senior Corporate Counsel and Corporate Counsel, for providing general legal services and handling specific projects for the Providence St. Joseph Health (PSJH) ministries.

The Associate Counsel provides legal advice, consultation, policy analysis, and interpretations across various legal areas. Responsibilities include conducting research, preparing written opinions, drafting and reviewing contracts (especially physician and vendor agreements), and keeping informed of relevant legal developments. The role requires the ability to work effectively in a team setting.

Required Qualifications

• J.D. from an accredited law school or equivalent.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a healthcare-related field, such as a private law firm, in-house legal team, or public/regulatory organization.
• Within 1 year of hire: Admission to one of the following State Bars: WA, OR, CA, AK, TX, NM, MT. Residing outside these states is permitted.
