Job summary

Amazon.com Services LLC's legal team seeks an Associate Corporate Counsel to support AWS with commercial real estate transactions for global data center expansion, from standard leases to bespoke high-value deals. Qualifications

• JD and bar admission in at least one state.
• Experience drafting and negotiating a variety of real estate documents (leases, amendments, purchase agreements, easements, development agreements, etc.)
• Experience structuring and negotiating complex commercial real estate transactions.

Responsibilities

• Structure, draft, and negotiate commercial real estate agreements and leases, including bespoke high-value transactions for AWS data center expansion.
• Provide legal counsel on obligations, risks, and opportunities in commercial relationships.
• Manage outside counsel relationships and coordinate resources for transactional work and dispute resolution.
• Develop and implement process improvements across the legal team to enhance efficiency across matters.
• Resolve issues in existing relationships and handle pre-litigation disputes and inquiries.
