Job description

Position Overview

Redding Ridge Asset Management LLC (“Redding Ridge”) was established and seeded by Apollo Global Management, Inc. (together with its subsidiaries, “Apollo”) in 2016. Redding Ridge has assets under management of approximately $44.2 billion as of October 31, 2025. Redding Ridge’s primary business consists of acting as collateral manager for CLO transactions and related warehouse facilities in both the U.S. and Europe. Redding Ridge also provides structuring and ratings advisory services to issuers across various asset classes.

Redding Ridge is seeking an Associate to join its COO team. The team partners with leaders across the business to support Redding Ridge's most strategic and highest-priority initiatives as it continues to scale. Team members work cross-functionally on the firm's top priorities and gain broad exposure to senior leadership and to how the business operates as a whole.

This role - Associate, COO: Strategy & Business Management - is designed for a candidate who combines strong financial modeling and analytical skills with the ability to understand how a business operates and functions. The Associate will work directly with the COO on a range of financially oriented projects: revenue and cost analysis, business performance tracking, fee modeling, planning, strategic projects and ad-hoc analysis. The work will draw on structured credit, private credit, and asset management context as much as it will on core financial skills.

Primary Responsibilities
Financial Analysis & Business Modeling
  • Analyze Redding Ridge's financial performance across its core business lines including, CLO Management & Investing, Multi-Credit Management & Investing, Structuring & Advisory and Strategic Capital, producing clear and actionable outputs for the COO and senior leadership.
  • Support the development of business cases and investment rationales for new initiatives, strategic partnerships and capital allocation decisions, drawing on both quantitative analysis and business judgment.
  • Build and maintain financial models in support of business management priorities, including revenue and expense analysis, management fee and incentive fee modeling, and scenario and sensitivity analysis.
  • Assist in the preparation of financial reporting packages, board materials and investor-facing materials, with an emphasis on analytical accuracy, clarity and executive-ready presentation.
  • Track key performance metrics across the platform and develop analytical dashboards to support ongoing business management and strategic planning.
Strategy & Business Management
  • Support the COO on high-priority strategic initiatives, including market analysis, competitive benchmarking, firm performance reviews and business development and growth projects.
  • Prepare executive-ready materials – memos, presentations and analytical summaries – to support firmwide decision-making and senior leadership discussions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams across Finance, Legal, Operations, Technology, Human Capital, and the Investment teams to ensure work products reflect a complete view of the business.
  • Assist in developing and tracking strategic planning frameworks as the firm scales its core business lines across the platform and expands its investing strategy globally.
  • Take on special analytical projects at the direction of the COO, bringing strong financial judgment and intellectual curiosity to an evolving and varied workload.
Qualifications & Experience
  • 3-5 years of experience in investment banking (including IB coverage, M&A, capital market, structured finance, ABS, asset management or FIG coverage), Strategy consulting, Big 4 advisory (transaction advisory, restructuring or valuation), FP&A at a financial services firm, or a closely related analytical role; direct exposure to structured credit, CLOs or asset-backed markets is a plus but not required.
  • Strong financial modeling skills: comfortable building and navigating complex models with a genuine understanding of how financial businesses generate revenue and manage costs.
  • Self-starter that is intellectually curious with the ability to take a loosely defined project brief through to a clean, decision-ready analytical output.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; comfortable preparing executive-level materials and presenting analytical work to senior stakeholders.
  • Collaborative, low-ego team player willing to learn, iterate and adapt — candidates who bring formal technical training but can move past rigid process to operate flexibly in an entrepreneurial environment will be well regarded.
  • Strong attention to detail and sound analytical judgment, with the ability to balance rigor with speed in a fast-moving operating environment.
  • Bachelor's degree required; backgrounds in finance, accounting, economics or engineering are common among strong candidates.
Pay Range

$130,000 - $175,000

The base salary range for this position is listed above and is dependent on individual candidate experience and skills.
