Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED with 2+ years of industry experience in construction, industrial, manufacturing or engineering, OR an Associate degree in an engineering or technical field.
• Willingness to pursue a Bachelor's degree in engineering or construction discipline preferred.
• Hands-on experience in HVAC controls, BAS, or commercial electrical/mechanical installation.
• Basic understanding of electrical schematics, control systems, or mechanical HVAC concepts.
• Strong problem-solving, organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Scope of Position

As an Associate Controls Engineer , you will play a crucial role in Automated Logic's (ALC) success by designing custom building automation systems tailored to our customers' unique needs. We are seeking a collaborative team player with exceptional problem‑solving, time‑management, and multitasking abilities. In this role, you will expand your technical capabilities while taking independent ownership of smaller‑scale projects.

Essential Job Responsibilities

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Design and program building automation systems, site‑specific control configurations, and control algorithms.

Required Qualifications

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in an engineering or construction discipline.
• Prior hands‑on experience in HVAC controls, Building Automation Systems (BAS), or commercial electrical/mechanical installation.
• Basic understanding of electrical schematics, control systems, or mechanical HVAC concepts.
• Demonstrated problem‑solving, organizational, and multitasking abilities.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills

Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States without current or future employer sponsorship.

Pay Range

The annual salary for this position is between $53,000.00 - $106,000.00 annually. Factors which may affect pay within this range include, but are not limited to, skills, education, experience, and other unique qualifications of the successful candidate. The pay range will not be below the minimum wage applicable to the jurisdiction in which the applicant is to be employed.

Other Compensation

This position may be entitled to short-term cash incentives, subject to plan requirements.
