Vision Point Systems, Inc. is seeking an Associate Consultant to join our growing delivery team. This entry‑level role is designed for individuals who enjoy solving problems, working with technology, and learning new skills.

You will design, develop, test, deploy, and support technology solutions for clients, learn the Appian platform, and pursue certification with company sponsorship. The role offers exposure to cloud services, data platforms, and enterprise tech.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in CS/CE/IS or related field (accredited).
• 0–2 years of professional experience; recent grads welcomed.
• Basic SQL, relational databases, or data modeling understood.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, deploy, and support technology solutions as part of a cross-functional team.
• Learn Appian and develop apps using interfaces, process models, data, and integrations.

Job description

Vision Point Systems, Inc. is recruiting for an Associate Consultant to join our growing delivery team. This is an entry-level consulting role designed for someone who enjoys solving problems, working with technology, and learning new skills. Duties will include but not limited to the following:

• Work as part of a cross-functional consulting team to design, develop, test, deploy, and support technology solutions for our clients.

• Learn the Appian platform and develop applications using interfaces, process models, record types, business rules, data, and integrations.

• Complete Appian training and work toward the Appian Certified Associate Developer certification with company sponsorship and support.

• Investigate application issues and assist with troubleshooting and production support.

• Assist with integrations between applications, databases, APIs, web services, and enterprise identity systems.

• Depending on project needs, gain exposure to complementary technologies, automated testing, performance testing, cloud services, data platforms, and other areas of enterprise technology.

• 0–2 years of professional experience. Recent graduates and candidates beginning their technology careers are encouraged to apply.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, or related field from an accredited university or college is required.
• Programming experience through coursework, personal projects, internships, or professional experience.

• Basic understanding of SQL, relational databases, or data modeling.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with a demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with clients, teammates, and other stakeholders.

• Ability to learn unfamiliar technologies and concepts quickly.

• Interest in understanding both the business problem and the technology used to solve it.

Preferred Skills:

• Internship, academic project, or professional experience in software development, consulting, engineering, or IT.
• Experience with Java, Python, C++, JavaScript, or similar languages is helpful; Java experience is preferred.

• Exposure to Appian or another low-code, workflow, or process automation platform.

• Understanding of object-oriented programming and software design concepts.

• Experience working with REST APIs or web services.

• Familiarity with Agile software development.

• Experience with process modeling or tools such as Microsoft Visio.

• Understanding of UX or user-centered design concepts.

• Automated or manual software testing experience.

• Experience with cloud technologies such as AWS or Azure.

• Data analysis or visualization experience.

• Familiarity with Windows or Linux environments.

• Appian Certified Associate Developer certification.
