Job summary

Life.Church is seeking an Associate Community Pastor to partner with the Community Pastor to train global Leaders for LifeGroups and LifeMissions, and to connect attenders with mentors and leaders. This role emphasizes pastoral care, volunteer leadership, and cross-campus collaboration.

You will support the operational and pastoral efforts of the Community Ministry and campus to advance Life.Church’s mission. A heart for spiritual growth and experience developing leaders are essential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• At least 1 year of work experience.
• Proven ability to develop leaders and mentor volunteers.

Responsibilities

• Support the vision and direction of the Community Ministry.
• Develop and disciple leaders including LifeGroup Leaders.
• Connect people to small groups globally (virtual and in-person).
• Provide pastoral care and invest in spiritual transformation of attenders and volunteers.
• Collaborate with campus and weekend/Online ministries.

The Associate Community Pastor is responsible for partnering with the Community Pastor to identify, train, anddevelop passionate and capable global Leaders to support the LifeGroups LifeMissions initiatives. This role willsupport championing the cause for community and connecting attenders with leaders or mentor relationships.The Associate Community Pastor is responsible for pastoral care and leadership of attenders and volunteers, inaddition to supporting the operational and pastoral efforts of their ministry and campus to outcomes that furtherLife.Church’s mission and reach people for Christ.

What You'll Do

Support the Vision and Direction of the Community Ministry

• Develop and disciple leaders, including Coaches and LifeGroup Leaders, in a digital and globalenvironment.
• Connect people to virtual and in-personal small groups around the globe.
• Cultivate relationships and advocate for mission partners, making a significant impact incommunities around the world.

Understand and Lead through Key Operational Areas of the Community Ministry

• Ensure excellence in ministry processes, including group management, leader onboarding,systems management, and event planning.
• Plan and execute successful quarterly ministry growth strategies.
• Identify trends to understand ministry health and respond to key opportunities.

Provide Support and Leadership to the Campus

• Provide pastoral care and invest in the spiritual transformation of the church attenders andvolunteer leaders.
• Collaborate and support all weekend ministries and other Life.Church Online ministries.
