Edward Rose & Sons, LLC is seeking an Associate Community Manager to join our on-site team in Indiana. You will manage apartment rentals, lease documentation, move-in/out procedures, and resident relations to ensure a positive resident experience.

The role requires prior supervisory or leasing experience, strong customer service skills, and proficiency with Microsoft Office; Yardi Voyager experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred; prior supervisory experience helps.
• Experience in sales or customer service required.
• Experience in multi-family property management preferred.
• Leasing experience preferred.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office.
• Experience using Yardi Voyager or related property management software preferred.
• Must have reliable transportation and valid driver’s license.
• Flexible with work schedule; weekend hours may be assigned.

Responsibilities

• Handle apartment rentals, traffic generation, leasing, and move-in/out procedures.
• Oversee departments and coordinate with supervisors.
• Promote high-quality customer service through team development.
• Develop and refine technical and administrative processes.
• Interview and hire qualified candidates.
• Onboard new hires and monitor performance.
• Address resident concerns promptly and pursue improvements.
• Evaluate contractor projects for quality and contract compliance.
• Assist Property Manager with timely reporting.
• Coordinate communications to collections and assist with events.
• Note repair needs and charges for move-out damages.

We are currently looking for anAssociate Community Managerto join our on-site community team to help support a positive experience for our residents.

What are the responsibilities of an Associate Community Manager?

• Responsible for all activities related to apartment rentals, including generating and handling traffic, leasing apartments, qualifying prospective residents, preparing lease documentation, and completing move-in and move-outprocedures
• Oversee assigned department(s) and work cohesively with supervisors to ensure each team’s success in their day-to-day operations
• Promote high quality customer service through team development initiatives
• Consistently review and develop the team on technical and administrative processes
• Interview and hire qualified candidates
• Successfully acclimate new hires into their roles
• Successfully evaluate and resolve resident concerns in a timely manner
• Identify areas for improvement and suggest practical updates to enhance resident retention and revenue
• Evaluate contractor projects upon completion to ensure high quality and contract compliance
• Assist the Property Manager with accurate and timely report submission
• Accurately prepare and submit communications to the collections department
• Participate in organizing and facilitating community events and other special projects as assigned
• Note repairs, replacements needed and appropriate charges for resident damages upon move out.

What are the role requirements?

• Bachelor’s degree is preferred
• Previous experience in a supervisory role is preferred
• Previous sales or customer service experience is required
• Previous experience in multi-family property management is preferred
• Previous leasing experience is preferred
• Must be proficient with Microsoft Office programs
• Experience using Yardi Voyager or related property management software is preferred
• Maintain a professional appearance following team dress code policy
• Must be flexible with work schedule. Weekend hours may be assigned
• Have reliable transportation and valid driver’s license
