Rees Broome, PC, a Top 20 law firm in Virginia, is seeking an associate with 3-5 years of general collections experience to assist our community association and HOA clients in our Community Association practice group. This role requires Maryland licensure and offers competitive compensation with a generous bonus plan.

Qualifications

3–5 years of collections experience.
Licensed to practice in Maryland.
Strong research and communication skills.
Ability to manage multiple clients simultaneously.

Responsibilities

Manage a caseload of 250–400 active collection cases from intake to closing.
Collaborate with paralegals and Shareholders on collection matters.
Review client documents and draft opinions for Shareholder review.
Appear in court across multiple jurisdictions as needed.
Provide routine status reports to community association clients.
Bill hourly time and fixed-fee collections work.
Attend on-site meetings to oversee elections and Board meetings.
