Job summary

LPA is seeking candidates for an Associate - Commercial Real Estate Appraiser in our Houston office. Responsibilities include all aspects of real property valuation, including industry research, property inspections, financial models, and preparing appraisal reports.

The role offers exposure to a variety of property types and opportunities for growth, with a focus on analytical rigor, report quality, and collaboration with senior staff; candidates should have a bachelor's degree and 0–2 years’

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in finance, accounting, real estate, economics, or a related field.
• 0–2 years of professional experience.
• Strong analytical and quantitative skills.
• Excellent writing and report composition skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Windows, Word, Excel, and Outlook.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Real Estate, Economics, or a related field
• 0 to 2 years of professional experience
• Strong analytical and quantitative skills
• Strong writing, grammar, and report composition skills
• Excellent keyboarding and computer proficiency
• Proficiency with Microsoft Windows, Word, Excel, and Outlook
• Strong work ethic and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
• Familiarity with CoStar and other commercial real estate databases preferred
• Familiarity with Argus or other discounted cash flow software preferred
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively with minimal supervision
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to successfully pass a criminal background check
• Must be able to commute to or work from the Houston office
• Must be authorized to work in the United States without current or future visa sponsorship
