Job summary

Incyte Corporation is seeking a Data Engineer / Associate Commercial Data Architect to join the US Business Analytics team. You’ll design data models, contribute to lakehouse patterns, and translate commercial goals into scalable, governed data solutions on our cloud stack.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years in data engineering/analytics, strong SQL, data modeling, and experience with Databricks and Azure. You’ll work across business stakeholders to enable data-driven decisions and revenue impact.

Qualifications

3+ years of experience in data-related roles (data engineering, analytics engineering, BI, or similar).
Bachelor’s Degree in a technical area (Computer Science, Business Information Systems, Engineering or related specialty).
Strong knowledge of data modeling, SQL, and modern data platforms (e.g., Databricks, cloud data warehouses).
Knowledge of commercial application architecture and the data and process required to support them (CRM, MDM, Reporting Platforms).
Hands-on experience with SQL and at least one modern cloud data platform (Databricks preferred, Azure Synapse, Snowflake, or similar).
Experience creating BRDs, functional specs, data dictionaries, or process diagrams.

Own Commercial Data Domains and ensure data quality, lineage, and reliability.
