Job summary

Premier Brands Group Holdings in New York is seeking an Associate CLO Technical Designer to support our Technical Design and Design teams by building and refining virtual garments in CLO 3D from blocks, sketches and tech packs.

This entry-level to mid-level role offers hands-on development, oversight from senior staff, and collaboration across Design, Technical Design, and PLM workflows. Proficiency in CLO3D, Illustrator, PLM and Excel is expected, with 2–4 years of relevant experience.

Qualifications

• 2-4 years in apparel technical design or 3D garment development.
• Ability to build and adjust garments in CLO 3D from existing blocks and tech packs.
• Working knowledge of garment construction, patternmaking fundamentals, fit, and measurements.
• Experience with Adobe Illustrator and PLM; Excel proficiency.
• Ability to execute technical corrections with guidance and collaborate across Design and Technical Design.

Responsibilities

• Build and modify 3D garments in CLO 3D using sketches, technical packages, and established blocks.
• Apply routine pattern and construction adjustments within approved fit standards and under senior technical direction.
• Prepare virtual samples for team review; incorporate fit, proportion, and design feedback.
• Support virtual fittings and document observations and approved changes for the Technical Design team.
• Coordinate with Technical Design and Design to maintain accurate digital garments, fabrics, trims, avatars, and block libraries.
• Update supporting technical packages, measurements, and development records in PLM.
• Support physical-sample and digital-sample comparisons, identifying discrepancies for review.
• Organize digital assets and communicate development status to support seasonal deadlines.

We are currently seeking an Associate CLO Technical Designer. Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

Position Summary

Supports Technical Design and Design teams by building and refining virtual garments in CLO 3D, working from established blocks, sketches, tech packs, and sample references. This is an Associate-level execution role, with technical guidance and oversight from the Technical Design team.

Qualifications

• 2-4 years of relevant apparel technical design or 3D garment development experience, including demonstrated hands-on CLO 3D proficiency.
• Ability to build and adjust garments in CLO 3D from existing blocks and tech packs.
• Working knowledge of garment construction, patternmaking fundamentals, fit, and measurements.
• Experience with Adobe Illustrator and PLM; Excel proficiency.
• Ability to execute technical corrections with guidance and collaborate across Design and Technical Design.
• Strong attention to detail, organization, and ability to manage concurrent styles.

Salary Range: $65K - $70K *Actual base salary for this role within the above range will be based upon experience, qualifications and/or assigned unit.
