Position Summary

We are seeking an Associate Clinical Research Coordinator (Non-therapeutic Oncology) to join our team. The role involves coordinating oncology clinical research studies, supporting study planning and conduct, and ensuring compliance and safety under the supervision of the Principal Investigator and CTO management. The coordinator will work closely with various departments, research teams, and sponsors to facilitate clinical trials.

Job Responsibilities
  1. Assist in patient recruitment and pre-screening activities, ensuring timely follow-up on requests.
  2. Support screening, enrollment, and eligibility processes, maintaining compliance with SOPs and protocols.
  3. Conduct informed consent processes under supervision, ensuring proper documentation in EPIC.
  4. Follow institutional policies to ensure research quality and safety.
  5. Register and randomize subjects per protocol and maintain accurate tracking forms.
  6. Communicate updates and coordinate patient visits, tests, and procedures to ensure protocol adherence.
  7. Prepare for study visits, including specimen collection, laboratory orders, and imaging coordination.
  8. Manage biospecimen collection, processing, shipping, and storage, ensuring compliance with protocols.
  9. Record and maintain accurate research data, resolve queries, and support data analysis and reporting.
  10. Utilize research management systems like CRMS and Research Navigator for study activities.
  11. Coordinate monitoring visits, document study progress, and facilitate audits.
  12. Ensure compliance with GCP, FDA regulations, and HIPAA, maintaining source documentation and confidentiality.
  13. Support adverse event reporting, medication reconciliation, and follow-up activities.
  14. Participate in protocol feasibility assessments and study activation processes.
  15. Attend meetings, support patient recruitment, and contribute to research and clinical activities.
  16. Perform additional duties as assigned, including cross-covering other teams.
Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree or equivalent, with at least 2 years of relevant experience. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and internet applications, with strong communication and problem-solving skills. Ability to work under supervision and manage time effectively.

Preferred Qualifications

Degree in science, public health, or related field; professional certification (e.g., ACRP CCRC, SOCRA CCRP); experience in oncology and with EPIC EHR preferred. Certification should be obtained within one year if not already held.
