About the Role

As an Associate Client Executive II, you will play a crucial role in managing and growing relationships with our High Value Customers in the Tax & Accounting sector. This position focuses on our highest value customers within our Tax Workflow products. You will be responsible for account management, retention, renewal activities, and driving cross-sales and upsells. This role requires a proactive approach to client management, utilizing data-driven strategies to enhance customer satisfaction and long-term value.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a portfolio of Growth Accounts, focusing on retention, increased usage, and account expansion.
  • Conduct semi-annual business reviews with clients to assess their needs, address concerns, and identify growth opportunities.
  • Implement strategies to increase product adoption and usage among existing clients.
  • Identify and pursue opportunities to upsell and cross-sell within the assigned account base.
  • Monitor client satisfaction and engagement levels, addressing any issues promptly to ensure retention.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to resolve client issues and ensure smooth product implementation and support.
  • Utilize data analytics to track account performance and identify trends that could lead to increased spend or usage.
  • Strategically drive cross-sales and upsells within Growth Accounts, with the goal of increasing their overall spend to transition them into the High Value Account (HVA) tier.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of client interactions and account status in the CRM system.
  • Stay informed about product updates, industry trends, and tax regulations to provide valuable insights to clients.
  • Contribute to the development of best practices and process improvements within the Client Executive team.

About You

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred or equivalent experience.
  • 2-3 years of experience in account management, client relations, or sales, preferably in the software or professional services industry.
  • Strong understanding of tax and accounting processes and software solutions.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to build relationships with clients at various levels.
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales and retention targets.
  • Proficiency in data analysis and the ability to translate insights into actionable strategies.
  • Experience with CRM systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills.
  • Customer-centric mindset with a focus on building long-term client relationships.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Thomson Reuters complies with local laws that require upfront disclosure of the expected pay range for a position. The target total cash compensation range varies across locations. For any eligible US locations, unless otherwise noted, the target total cash compensation range for this role is $77,000 - $143,000, inclusive of both base pay and any target sales incentive.
