Job Responsibilities

• Investigate moderate to complex claims as reported and determine injured worker’s eligibility for workers’ compensation benefits
• Administers indemnity and medical benefits for valid workers’ compensation claims
• Manage the progression of the claims process through collaboration with physicians, nurses, attorneys and other parties as needed
• Determine if subrogation exists and takes the steps necessary to initiate recovery efforts
• All file handling must be within state statutes, client claims handling guidelines, and best practices

Qualifications

• Must have or be willing to obtain CA claims handling certification
• 0 - 2 years experience handling insurance or medical claims.
• High school diploma required.
• Prefer Associates degree.
• US Work Authorization required.

Pay information

• The salary range for this position is $26.10 - $54.36.
• The posted salary range reflects the lowest and highest base salary applicable to this role across our U.S. locations.
• Individual offers are determined based on geographic location, experience, qualifications, internal equity, and other job-related factors.
• As a result, the salary offered for a specific location will fall within a narrower range than the overall range displayed in this posting.
• This position may also be eligible to participate in the Company's annual incentive plan.
